I'm Shelley, a veterinary nursing graduate from New Zealand with a background in animal behavior and welfare. I began as an animal behavior technician, gathering research to improve animal welfare, before moving to Sydney in 2000. I then spent 16 years with a veterinary diagnostics team, expanding my skills and love for animal behavior. Driven by a passion for learning, I earned a Business Management Diploma in 2011, followed by dog training accreditation. In 2013, I launched Paws And Think to help people and dogs connect and thrive.

Sylvie is a knowledgeable and caring team member at Dogs in Town Paddington, with decades of experience in pet care. Formerly the owner of Bondi’s Rupert and Dora pet shop and an advisor for brands like K9 Natural, she brings deep expertise in pet wellness. A dedicated dog mom to Wombat and animal advocate, Sylvie is passionate about helping pet parents with advice on nutrition, products, and pet happiness. With her warm and friendly approach, she’s always ready to support your pet's well-being.

I'm Anniina, a professional dog trainer with over 10 years of experience in Sydney’s Inner West. Together with my team, we offer flexible, positive training through group classes and home visits. Our approach isn’t about treat bribing but follows a "nothing in life is free" philosophy—where treats are earned and gradually phased out. We focus on understanding canine behavior to build lasting obedience, ensuring your dog responds out of willingness, not just for treats. Our private one-on-one sessions are tailored to set you and your dog on the path to success.
